So what the hell is “Trash the Dress” (or as its commonly referred to TTD ) I hear you asking? Well it’s a style of photography that originated in America and has slowly found its self a home in Australia, but we have added our unique style to it. When you “Trash a Dress” you don’t have to damage it, in fact the first 2 dress trashing I did both just washed there dressed afterwards in the washing machine and they were fine. So what IS IT…!?!? The original concept was for trashing wedding dresses.., but it doesn’t have to be a wedding dress, it can be any kind of clothing. In fact it doesn’t even have to be clothing, it could be anything like a car, bike, caravan etc. What Trash the Dress gives you is the opportunity to get some very different images, taken in locations that you normally wouldn’t go too to take formal photographs. This can be a river, forest, ocean, car yard anywhere that you want. The following are some things that you should consider before you start to get "TRASHED".
